Bob Blumenfield has represented the West San Fernando Valley on the Los Angeles City Council since July, 2013. The district includes the communities of Reseda, Woodland Hills, Tarzana, Canoga Park and Winnetka.
He lives with his wife and their two children in Woodland Hills and is committed to making all the communities of the Valley safer and better for his family and yours.
In City Hall, Bob is a leader in keeping the city budget balanced and responsive to the needs of the entire city. He is a champion on environmental protection, infrastructure improvement, and innovation with technology. Bob’s energy is directed at improving public safety and emergency preparedness, traffic reduction, social and economic justice and ensuring a healthy business climate in the Valley and across the city.
As a long-time West Valley resident, Bob knows and understands the needs and concerns of the community. He is committed to provide the best possible services to residents and the business community, maintain strong police and fire protection, increase open space and parkland, and improve the quality of life in every neighborhood.
