for LA City CounciL
Bob Blumenfield with his parents, his wife Kafi and their two children.
Dear friends and neighbors,
I want to take this opportunity to let you know I am a candidate for re-election to the Los Angeles City Council on the March 7, 2017 ballot and to ask for your support for my campaign.
My first few years on the council have presented many interesting challenges for our city and the neighborhoods of our West Valley district. I’m proud of so many of the things I’ve been able to accomplish with the support of my staff and cooperation of my colleagues.
We laid the groundwork for a massive renewal of a blighted area of Reseda with housing, retail and recreational facilities.
We brought new parks and open space to West Valley communities.
We launched an effort to put Los Angeles on the leading age of digital development that will bring thousands of jobs and a billion dollars in private investment to the city and free high speed wireless internet service for all residents.
We hosted live and telephone Town Hall Meetings that allowed thousands of local residents to exchange ideas with and ask questions of general managers of city departments, citywide elected leaders, and fire and police officials.
As you know, there is so much more to be done to help our communities thrive, and I am grateful to be able to work on these and many other important issues. I hope I will have your support to continue this work for another term. Your personal endorsement and financial support for my campaign will be greatly appreciated.
